1st day: Seoul Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport, transfer to hotel. 2nd day: Seoul Whole day sightseeing of Seoul, the capital of Korea, includes Gyeongbokgung Palace, which was served as the main imperial residence of Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), the last dynasty of Korea; National Folk Museum, introducing the cultural and historical wealth of Korea; Jogyesa Temple, the headquarters of the Jogyejong Sect, the main sect of Korean Buddhism; Insadong Antique Alley, the center of Korean fine art and antique; Seoul Tower, on Mt. Namsan for a bird's eye view of whole city; Dongdaemun Market, one of the most famous shopping areas with its major items including fabrics, clothing, leather goods, sporting goods, etc. 3rd day: Seoul This morning visit Icheon Ceramic Village, representing the Korean ceramic culture, which has brilliantly flourished for about one thousand years. In this village, about 80 ceramic workshops are clustered, so you will have the chance to see the process of making potter at the traditional kilns; and then transfer to Haegang Ceramic Museum, Korea¡¯s only museum devoted entirely to the ceramic arts. Afternoon continues to visit Korean Folk Village, a living museum recreating the Korean lifestyle of several centuries ago. In the evening, enjoy the traditional art performance at Jeongdong Theatre, to offer you the opportunity of appreciating the spirit of Korean culture. |
